Hydro-Electric Energy By David Thompson

How do Hydro-electric dams work? The water flows through a pipe, or Penstock, then pushes against and turns blades in a turbine to spin a generator to produce electricity.

How does lunar power works? The moon's gravitational pull on the Earth is responsible for rising and falling tides experienced around the world. These machines are like wind turbines, except they are underwater and are put in Bays and Estuaries.

What regions in the world is Hydro Electricity widely in use? 61% of Canada’s energy is made by Hydro Electric energy sources. The Location of the U.S.’s largest Hydro- electric facility is the Grand Coulee Dam Ice Harbor Dam

Hydro Electricity is a good source of energy for Missourians. I think that hydro electricity is a good source of energy for Missourians We have lots of running water and rivers in Missouri We have rivers in most parts of Missouri Morony Dam, Missouri River Springfield Lake Dam Spillway

Some advantages of hydro-electric energy There are no waste products Fish can get past dams because of fish ladders John Day Dam fish ladder, viewed from the Washington (north) side of the Columbia River. Fish Ladder- Bonneville Dam
