HUMAN SERVICES

Current Operations – –50 canteens, 3 kitchens trailers and 30 comfort stations. –18 shelters remain open with 900 evacuees. 178 in Special Needs Shelters. –1.3 m meals served as of 2400 on –597 trucks of water (2.9 m) gals have been distributed. –363 trucks of ice (14.5 lbs) have been distributed. –631,000 meals have been delivered to various sites. –42,086 cases of baby food and formula have been distributed. –Call Center is averaging about 20 calls per hour. –Volunteer Florida has registered 4390 volunteers. –DeSoto, Seminole, Orange and Sarasota (2) have Volunteer Reception Centers open. –4 staging sites are operational for animal feed donations and distribution through EOC –Code 3 Mobile Hospital continues to operate.
