Background 2004 Noel-Levitz analysis of financial aid data and enrollment management practices 2005 Recommendations submitted to State Regents Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education

Financial Aid Database #24 “recommend that all Oklahoma institutions whose students are eligible to receive state-funded assistance…submit unit (student) level reporting...From these data OSRHE could determine allocation levels for the OTAG awards and perform research on the usage, interaction, and effectiveness of state programs...

…Moreover, individual institutions would benefit from this process by having a database appropriate for conducting research on the impact of aid on student enrollment behavior at their campus.” Financial Aid Database

2008 RFP 1. Develop capacity to report on financial aid related issues and perform research on the usage, interaction, and effectiveness of state programs using student academic information, demographics, full financial aid award information, income level, financial need, expected family contribution, etc. Financial Aid Database

2008 RFP 2. OSRHE will collect financial aid data to supplement existing unit record student data collected in the OSRHE Unitized Data System (UDS). Financial Aid Database

2008 RFP 3. Individual institutions also should be able to benefit from this database by conducting research on the impact of aid on student enrollment behavior at their campus. Financial Aid Database
