Forms of Energy Energy : The ability to do work There are six different forms of energy All forms have one important point in common – they cause changes to occur 1.Mechanical Energy 2.Sound Energy 3.Chemical Energy 4.Thermal Energy 5.Electromagnetic Energy 6.Nuclear Energy

About the Project Predetermined group project Each group will be assigned one of the six forms of energy You will research this topic and to learn more about. You will be looking for the following information: What is this form of energy Examples of this form of energy A very detailed look at how this form of energy works. Your group will then create a lesson that you will teach to your classmates. You will need to develop all handouts Also need to develop a mini quiz that the rest of the class will take Quiz should be simple with minimum of 5 multi choice questions

About the Project Total lesson length will need to be 15min This included lesson delivery and taking the quiz You will create a Google Doc that will be shared will your team and Mr. Siemek!! ALL research, notes, planning, ect... will be on here!! Quiz will be made using Google Forms Project will be graded by : How much your group understands the material (need to have a very strong understanding to teaching something effectively) Creativity of lesson/how well you taught this information Google Doc – The one you share with Mr. Siemek Student quiz data Group reflection

Project Timeline Wednesday May 13 th : Research day – need to find all information about your topic. Research what the form of energy is Examples of this form of energy More detailed research on how this form of energy actually works DONT FORGET TO USE GOOGLE DOC FOR ALL WORK Thursday May 14 th : Finish Research/Begin lesson development Need to decided on the type of lesson you are going to create Also need begin creating all materials for lesson plan (handouts, assessment, ect...)
