Since 1980s, many new policies have solved some particular problems effectively. e.g. Policies was implemented to strengthen the schools’ power and bring in the competition . In the early 90s,Grant-maintain school was established.

Something needs to be improved: Class distance between public schools and common people The gap between public and state schools Best quality ,lower quantity .

Class distance between public schools and common people Theoretically open to the public Offer some scholarship Government s’ support Only a few people can attend these famous school.

Graduate from Eton College and enter Oxford or Cambridge is only the dream for the upper class. It’s the difference between Elitism and Equality.

The gap between public and state schools In 2002, 99%students in public schools pass the exam for entering universities. Only 50% students can achieve it in some good state schools. All Souls College, Oxford University England’s oldest institution of higher learning, Oxford University, is a federation of 35 colleges, each with its own structure and activities. Many prominent people have attended the All Souls College, shown here.

Best quality ,Lower quantity Compared with the US,fewer people go on with higher education in UK The out standing students become elite in the world while the worse ones can only do some labor job in their country.

The best you can be!
