Selecting Facilities Plan The selection pf the facilities plan tends to be a satisficing process, as opposed to an optimizing process The selection typically requires a compromise over several important criteria The selection process is critically dependent on the facilities planner selling the facilities plan

Preparing The Facilities If the facilities plan is not sold properly, the probability of acceptance by management is very low no matter high its quality There are 3 component required to successfully sell a facilities plan, the first is a high quality facilities, the second is written report describing the benefits and the third is an oral presentation
