Not only does it benefit students by giving them the much needed resources they will need later on, but it is also giving back to the community. Being taught discipline, responsibility, and time management is important in a young adult’s life; it allows them to acquire a skill set that they will be required to develop. Community service hours can also give them hands- on experience for a possible career and help students find their true passion. Equipping students with the necessary skill requirements allows them to strive further in an increasingly globalized world. There are undeniable advantages to someone who partakes in community service.
