Mary Stuart (Mary, Queen of Scots)  Daughter of James (V) Stewart and Mary of Guise  Became queen when she was one week old  Sent to France at an early age  1558 – marriage to the dauphin of France  After husband’s death, Mary returned to Scotland  1565 – marriage to her first cousin, lord Darnley  1576 – Danley was found murdered
