FPS WK 9 by Mike Fernandez

FPS Visit I visited FPS this week and I was very pleased with the quality. The place is totally full at this point as programmed. I did look at the concerns Rick had on the timing of the Lavender and the Rubrum grass. The Lavender first shipment is scheduled to ship week 15. There is a possibility that it could be delayed 1 week but we are leaving inside to do all we can to make the date. The Rubrum Grass is growing very good and fast. Rick you are right to be concerned because he will be cutting it close. I think we can make it but I did have to give him some ideas to help push a little. The 50 cell Triple stuck liners looked great in all. The Duranta was not as I would like but I have changes the way he is propping it and I think we will see improvement. I think this 50 cell liner has great potential and we would like to do more. I am helping Ron to move his personnel around to help take some of the pressure off him and to help him pay more attention to details. On the Geraniums I have set up a Negative Dif to help with Stretch and to prolong the life of the flowers.
