The Recycling Bin Tragedy By: Jonathan Archila

The people in the city would throw their recyclable items in the garbage bin all the time.

People would just keep throwing products in the garbage bin. Over the years, all the things that you needed to throw in the recycling bin they would throw in the garbage bin. For example: soda cans.

Even some kids would throw their things in the garbage can, although they had learned about recycling when they were younger. They would throw their water Bottles in the garbage bin after a day at school.

One day there was a wind while the kids were at school. The wind was so strong that it knocked down the garbage can. Everything from the garbage can fell on the ground.

When school ended that day, one small kid walked by the mess of cans and bottles. He noticed the mess and picked up everything.

He took the mess to the recycling bin which was empty. One person saw how the boy recycled. He didn’t want to feel left out so he did it too. Then everybody started to put their recyclable products in the recycling bin, all thanks to one kid.
