YSMP Background Arizona largest population of Native Americans living in the American Indian Reservation system Less than 5% are Christians YSMP began in 1992 with 33 people from 3 Chinese Baptist Churches Today 224 participants from 15 churches serve at 7 sites 88 adults, 46 college students, 90 high school age and younger Youngest participant 2 years old – family affair

McNary White Mountain Apache which includes McNary Median household income is about $27K vs $51K for the state. About 47% live below the poverty line with highest % being under % of households are headed by Father and Mother 33% of the households are headed by a female 7% are headed by male Many children are being raised by their grandparents

McNary Apache Baptist Church 39 people from CBC L.V. CBC of KC and NWCBC Morning VBS for about 90 people of all ages in the morning Evening Services to encourage and build the local body About 40 Adults and youth and special program for about 30 children Snacks for participants after each session Meals for some of the children who had no where else to go Door to door visitations 3 days About 175 people attended the community potluck

What Happened? Children recognized for their behavior in class Women from MABC performed Apache praise song 26 people made first time decision to become followers of Jesus. 7 People recommitted their lives to Jesus 17 Baptisms The team witnessed God work in an amazing way!
