An earthquake is a thing that the ground shakes and buildings fall. Sometimes the ground cracks and sometimes there are aftershocks.

Earthquakes happen when 2 rocks clash together underground. Only small earthquakes happen in the EU.

If you are inside a building when there is an earthquake duck under a table and hold on and brace yourself. Also watch out for after shocks. If you are outside get away from any buildings or trees.

If you are driving watch out for cracks in the roads and falling buildings.
