Environmental Review Process Alabama Housing Finance Authority Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for 2016 project applications will be submitted to AHFA with the initial application. AHFA will review and/or may engage 3 rd party Environmental Professional (EP) review of environmental documents submitted. A $4,000 fee is due with the initial application submission to pay for any 3 rd party costs. (Allocation Plans III.D.2) Any and/or all environmental concerns raised will be fully vetted prior the submission of the environmental report(s). EPs should be prepared to answer questions from AHFA staff or designated 3 rd party.
4 Environmental Process and Timeline for Applicants Alabama Housing Finance Authority The ESA must be received by AHFA with the initial appliction. The initial application window is Feb , Announcement of 2016 Project Awards is expected in June 2016.
