Conclusion In the formalism of the Duffin-Kemmer on the basis of the principle of gauge invariance defined in covariant form of the Lagrangian and the equation of motion of the pion in the electromagnetic field, taking account of its electric and magnetic polarizabilities. On the basis of the solution of the pion interaction with the electromagnetic field produced by the method of Green's function is defined amplitude of Compton scattering, taking into account the impact and polarizabilities of the pion. It is shown that the covariant formalism developed by Lagrange interaction of low-energy photons from the pion is consistent with the low-energy theorem of Compton scattering.
