LANGUAGE COURSE An English course specifically geared toward the administrative language for two hours a week

PEOPLE ENGAGED A group of employees in public administration sector who needs to know about the new European legal directives: to be able to communicate with other administrative sectors in Europe; to update their own knowledge in this field

FACILITIES The Italian group has been facilitated regarding the time frame. The lessons have been established every Friday in the afternoon.

TEACHERS The English teacher is a mother tongue speaker from England who lives here in Sicily, who is capable in the specific language.

MEANS Web sites, trailers from economic and legislative journals like: Financial Time, The Wall Street Journal (European edition), etc.

SKILLS Listening: to be able to understand formal and specific legal language; Speaking: to be able to speak about the laws and administrative rules; Reading and writing: to be able to understand legal and administrative written texts.

MONITORING THE ACTIVITIES We have been verifying the validity of the course by observing the regular and continuous attendance of the attendees. The teachers noticed that they are improving more and moreover their communicative skills

FUTURE PROVISIONS The success of these activities convinces us to continue the courses that already have begun. Furthermore, following these activities, a lot of people coming from other countries asked us to help them.
