What is a LEGO Robotic Vehicle? Made from LEGO’s Especially “Technic” pieces Controlled by an NXT or EV3 computer Programmed by kids to do missions Not Remote controlled Has 2 motors for driving and turning Has attachments for delivering or retrieving May have touch, light, gyro, and/or ultra-sonic sensors Each team designs their own robot

Robot moves around the “Field” and performs various missions Delivers items Retrieves items Pushes things Avoids Obstacles FLL Competition Challenge Competitions at practice and official tournaments in Camarillo Every year the challenge is different

The Competitions are Intense and Exciting!

FLL Project You study a science issue –“Senior Solutions” is this years topic Each team chooses a project related to the theme –Research –Field trip –Presentation
