Also… May 8, 2012 Dear Sir or Madam: The Office of the State Auditor, Division of Property (DoP) has the crucial responsibility of assuring that State entities are following State statues, regulations, and procedures regarding fixed assets. In order to adhere to this task, DoP is making an effort to obtain master inventory listings for all entities that they are tasked with auditing. In helping achieve this task, DoP requests that your school district submit a master inventory listing to our office no later than August 1, Please be advised, that this list should include the following: name of item description of item serial number inventory number purchase date cost and/or purchase price of each item the physical location total number of items on inventory for each site This listing should be in ordered by location and include all inventory items. Along with this listing, please include a contact name, title, address, fax and telephone number for the primary contact should we have any questions. In addition, DoP would like a separate listing of all additions to inventory during the 2011 – 2012 School Year. This listing should contain the same information stated above.
