I WOULD LIKE TO START OUR TRIP OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES FROM OUR SCHOOL BUILDING IN GRUNWALDZKA STREET

THEN WE ARE GOING IN THE DIRECTION OF RZESZÓW. ON THE WAY WE WILL VISIT A WIND FARM IN ORZECHOWCE – HNATKOWICE.

THE WIND FARM IN ORZECHOWCE WAS THE FIRST ONE IN THE REGION OF PODKARPACIE. IT IS STILL THE BIGGEST ONE IN THIS AREA. THERE ARE 6 TURBINES WITH A TOTAL POWER OF 12 MW.

T HE NEW WIND FARM IN OUR REGION IS A CONFIRMATION OF AN EXTREMELY DYNAMIC DEVELOPMENT OF WIND POWER AS A RENEWABLE ENERGY SECTOR IN OUR COUNTRY.

C ONSIDERING THE FACT THAT, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE EU IN 2020 IN P OLAND, 15 PERCENT OF THE ENERGY SHOULD BE PRODUCED FROM RENEWABLE SOURCES, OPENING ANOTHER WIND FARM IS OPTIMISTIC.

USEFUL SUNLIGHT IS ALSO ONE OF THE ADVANTAGES OF OUR REGION. IT CAN ALSO BE USED IN THE PRODUCTION OF HEAT AND ELECTRICITY.

S OLAR PANELS CAN BE FOUND ON THE ROOFS OF HOSPITALS ( EG. I N R ZESZÓW AND Ż URAWICA ), KINDERGARTENS (M IELEC, J ASŁO )OR SWIMMING POOLS (G ŁOG Ó W M A Ł OPOLSK I AND B OGUCHWALA ).

B IOGAS OR LANDFILL GAS IS PRODUCED BY THE FERMENTATION OF METHANE GAS MIXTURE WHICH MAIN COMPONENT IS METHANE. T HE BIOGAS USED FOR ENERGY PURPOSES INCLUDES MORE THAN 40% METHANE, AND DOES NOT DIFFER FROM THE PROPERTIES OF NATURAL GAS.

A BIOGAS POWER PLANT HAS BEEN OPERATING AT THE LANDFILL SITE SINCE I T IS SUPPLIED WITH COMPLEX WASTE.

T HE PHOTO SHOWS THE MAP OF COLLECTION AND PROCESSING CENTERS OF RAPE IN S UBCARPATHIAN PROVINCE.

S INCE 1997, THE REFINERY HAS BEEN WORKING ON " THE PROJECT OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE NETWORK OF COLLECTION OF USED OIL."

U NFORTUNATELY, S OLINA DAM WAS THE LAST POINT OF OUR ECOLOGICAL GUIDE. I HOPE THAT I MANAGED TO PRESENT YOU THE PLACES IN THE S UBCARPATHIAN REGION, WHERE THERE ARE RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES. T HANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION.
