Presentation transcript:

Mastering a work and life balance

 To live a balanced life often means that a person doesn’t feel like they must work too much, nor do they feel like they have too much free time.  A balanced work-home life looks different to everyone. Some people like to work hard and late, but make sure to spend quality time with their families at all other times. Plenty of people work from home, and allow themselves time to leave and explore.  A balanced life is typically a healthy life, but it’s a different experience for everyone.

 What do you need in life to feel “balanced” now?  What are your future goals: As a student As an adult As a professional What do you think you’ll need for future balance?

 What do you think our future wants and needs are?  How do we arrange our lives so that these wants and needs can be achieved?  Work, community, social and family roles all come into play when creating a balanced life while obtaining future wants and needs.  How might each segment of life piece together a person’s whole story?
