Payment Options – Self Payment Services or Third Party Payment Processing

Give more information to starting businesses who have already created their e-store on which e-payment systems are there for them to be used and how they work and what they do, comparing their liabilities, prices and so forth.

Utility of Workplace Thanks to Wikispaces, we were able to work all together, check and correct each other mistakes and give out suggestions which was great. We shared different links to usefull resources and we split up the work evenly and everyone was responsible for their own parts. It worked for us, although sometimes there was gap in communication, however altogether it worked just fine.

Lessons Learned Start as soon as possible Help each other out Make a good solid outline from which you can start-off Learn how to work with Wiki (so that you will not delete all work you have done by mistake) Share resources/Find the best one that suits you Meet with team members and consolidate your whole work and presentation

Value of Wiki Wiki is a great resource for companies, schools – classes, team-projects and others since it provide great platform were people can share and create information Although it might seem that with social networks and blogs out there the value of Wiki is not longer significant – it is because they do not offer you chance to edit and re-create your work all over again and work as team

Our Work - Outline Self-Payment Services – Anna Third Party Payment Services – Jason Pros´ and Cons´ - Kylie

Self-Payment Services Merchant Account way for businesses to accept credit card payments look for provider – based on prices, fees and liability apply, set-up, program and begin strict rules accepting your application ask your provider for more information about chargebacks, fees, mothly limit etc. liabilities – credit risk, fraud risk, contingent liability risk

High transaction fees Less information about customer Limitations on what you can accept payment for Longer to clear paymen ts Cons to Third Party Payment Processing

Large volume, high ticket products Check out all information before purchase Accept payment for almost anything legal, minor restrictions Pros to Self-Payment Processing

Expensive set up Extensive paperwork High risk Strict guidelines and standards Cons to Self-Payment Processing

Self Payment=more expensive and more liability, sometimes the only option Companies in business for a while, with a good track record High risk businesses: gambling, escort services Third Party= affordable, low liability New businesses Save your business and increase sales Cost Comparison and Liability
