 Exponents next.  After solving the problems in parentheses, solve the numbers with exponents.

 Multiplication and division  After solving the exponents, solve the multiplication and division problems left to right.

 Addition and subtraction  After solving the multiplication and subtraction area, solve the addition and subtraction from left to right.

 Whenever doing an equation, always remember the order of PEMDAS and you’ll be set.
