ECOTOURISM typical activities include bird watching, trail exploration and reef diving tourists travel to discover and learn about wild natural environments tourists believe in the preservation of wilderness and wildlife only small numbers of tourist’s participate at an ecosite at a time all age groups are represented ecotourism is quickly gaining interest and is becoming a large scale industry

WILDERNESS TOURISM typical activities include hiking, camping and canoeing involves travel into areas that have had little human contact is a personal experience, often done alone or in small groups the most common participants are young males the goal is to experience wilderness first-hand wilderness travellers want to keep rugged environments free from crowds wilderness tourism is growly slowly

ADVENTURE TOURISM typical activities include mountain climbing and white-water rafting adventure tourists seek to overcome dangers found in hazardous activities and environments some adventure tourism is in the form of team sports participants tend to be young, active sports enthousiasts adventure tourists are not as involved in the protection of the local environment adventure tourism is moderately popular
