WHAT’S NEXT? WHAT’S NEXT? Andrzej Soltan Institute for Nuclear Studies 22 Arkadiusz Chlopik Turin, June 15, 2009 WHAT’S NEXT? HARDWARE - devices - distances - data transmission - data acquisition SOFTWARE - drivers, handlers, OPCs, etc. – to collect them or to write them - the code (LabView, EPICS, MonAlisa, etc.) GOALS FOR THE NEAREST FUTURE (MY SUGGESTION) - choose people responsible for hardware and software, maybe something else - count the people!!! - discuss all aspects and define the tasks - divide the tasks between people - start the work
