  Research Scientists explore issues in computing and develop theories and models to address the issues. What they do?

  Most computer and information research scientists need a Ph.D. in computer. Or a related field, such as computer engineering.  You would need analytical skills, communication skills, Critical-thinking skills, Detail oriented, Ingenuity, Logical thinking and, Math skills to join this career. How to become one?

  The median annual wage for computer and information research scientists was $102,190 in May  Most computer and information research scientists work full time. Those working on independent research may have flexible work schedules then others. Pay?

  Employment of computer and information research scientists is likely to grow 15 percent from 2012 to 2022, faster than the average of all jobs. Outlook?

  Computer hardware engineers, Computer Programmers, Database Administrators, Mechanical Engineers, Postsecondary Teachers, Software Developers are similar jobs like the Computer and Information Research Scientist. Similar Occupations?
