Copyright© ANRITSU SSM Workspaces & Archives 4 An SSM Archive is a folder of test cases and libraries. Click the +Add Archives button to point SSM to a folder to add it to the workspace. You can also go to the “File” menu and select “Add Archive”. A Workspace is a collection of Archives and Libraries. A Library is a folder of Compound Procedures. A Compound Procedure is like a sub-program, It is a collection of SSM programming procedure blocks. Normally, all Test Cases, Archives and Libraries are stored in the C:\SSM Tests directory.

(especially when upgrading from SSM v 1.0.0). *2) IP Tester Control Library requires IXIA Chariot in addition to this option.

Copyright© ANRITSU Conflicts 21 It is possible to have more than one SSM Version installed on a PC at once If so, they must be installed in order of release. It is better to just have one version installed (less chance of an issue).

Copyright© ANRITSU RTD vs SSM 22 SSM and the RTD used with the Anritsu ME7834L system are mostly the same code. But RTD is scripted at the signaling message level. SSM is scripted at a much higher state machine level. Installing both on the same PC can cause issues if You don’t have compatible versions. RTD SSM 1.0.0, 1.1.0, RTD – SSM RTD – SSM (not released yet)
