USE QUIET VOICES. People come to the library to Find great books Read Study Research BE CONSIDERATE.

WALK IN THE LIBRARY. Jog and run on the playground where it is safe. Keep others safe by walking in the library.

USE A SHELF MARKER. It is easy to find the perfect book when it’s at home on the shelf. Books shelved at the wrong address can be lost for months.

CHECK OUT A BOOK. After finding the perfect book, get your library card and check the book out. Put your library card back in the correct box so you can find it quickly on your next visit to the library.

READ WHILE YOU WAIT. After checking out a book or magazine, sit down and read until it is time to return to class.

TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR LIBRARY BOOK! Keep your library book: In a safe place where you can always find it. Away from food and water. Away from pets and small children. Off the floor where people are walking.

RETURN YOUR LIBRARY BOOK ON TIME. Write a library day reminder in your planner. OR Bring your book back as soon as you finish reading it. Choose another book!

BE COOL! PRACTICE LIBRARY ETIQUETTE!
