THE LOOP Introduction to the car-line Safety is our number one priority!

James Ave Please be considerate of other drivers when entering James Ave. In order to prevent a backup of traffic please allow cars who need to cross traffic to enter ahead of you whenever possible.

James Ave Please be courteous of teachers and assistants who park in these spaces. The gate at the top of the hill is never to be used for pick-up or drop-off.

James Ave Once you enter James Ave. proceed toward the swim club. You will receive directions by a school employee regarding how to enter the loop. Begin your goodbyes and have backpacks, lunches, etc. ready to go!

Ruth Moyer Loop Do not let your children out of the car anywhere on the access drive other then designated drop-off places. There is no sidewalk and it will not be safe. Please wait until you have entered the loading/unloading zone.

Ruth Moyer Loop Once you enter the loop please be conscious of the line of traffic and watch for the person on duty to direct you into the unloading or loading zone. This procedure must move quickly in order to prevent traffic back up.

Ruth Moyer Loop Proceed slowly into the unloading/loading zone and come to a full stop. Adults stay in the vehicle and please have your child exit on the passenger side. Have children exit as quickly as possible, proceed to the sidewalk, and enter the building through the side double doors. Do not leave the unloading/loading zone until prompted by our staff.

Visitor Parking We will have allocated parking spots along the side of the drive for Visitor Only Parking. Please do not park in these spots during drop-off and pick-up times. These spots will be used for children who need extra time for loading/unloading. These spots may be used by parents and other visitors throughout the school day.

Highland Ave Please wait for the Traffic Guard to allow you to proceed. Traffic will be stopped both ways on Highland to allow parents to exit our loop. Please be aware of the street markings on Highland Avenue to provide more visibility for cars leaving the access drive.

Highland Ave The purpose of the car- loop: STUDENT SAFETY The loop is the safest, most effective way to pick-up and drop-off your child.

Highland Ave The driveway on the playground side of the campus is off limits for drop-off and pick-up. The parking spaces on this lot are designated for handicapped, faculty, and staff only. Do not use either drive as a turn around at any time, this is a major safety issue.

Sidewalks Please encourage sidewalk usage and cross only at the crosswalk. Bicycles riders must walk their bike on and in front of campus. James Ave. traffic will be increased. Please use caution when crossing this intersection.

drop-off/pick-up drop-off (Car Riders) Students may enter building at 7:30am. They will stay in the gym or cafeteria until 8am. Students continue to enter building from car-line entrance until 8:15am. Loop supervision ends at 8:15am. If you arrive after this time please walk your child into school and sign them in at the office. pick-up (Car Riders) Dismissal will begin promptly at 3pm. Loading zone supervised until 3:15pm. After 3:15pm parents must come to the office to pick students up.
