Timeline of Stanford 70’s - In the beginning, there was paper and the campus was devoid of automation. 80’s and 90’s - Stanford’s SPIRES/PRISM Mainframe Applications and Environments were extraordinarily tailored to our business processes and logic. Late 90’s - Enter the ERP with huge loss in tailored business process support. This had both intended and unintended consequences. Standardized many transactions. Completely broke integration.
