‘THE FANTASTIC FLYING BOOKS’ BY BEC 5B

RECOUNT No words were spoken, all you could hear was the loud storm aiming at the town. If they did speak all you would hear is their screams. The writer probably wanted to be back at the hotel writing in his book. His character knew the storm was coming, his face showed just that. He was sucked into the storm and suddenly, fell right back down. It was odd from then on, as one side of the town was colourful, but the other was black 'n' white. All the words in his book were gone, sucked in and thrown all over the place. Suddenly out of nowhere a woman appeared, giving the writer a book. She quickly disappeared into the sky. Humpty Dumpty, the character in the book lead the writer to a building. He became colourful again, as when he landed in the town he was black 'n' white! He lived with the books that were inside the building, that could move and show emotion. He did so much for them. Get them dressed and fed, kept them healthy, entertained and happy. The books loved and cared for him as much as he did for them. If the writer didn't have the books around he wouldn't be as happy and free as he was. Everyday he added to his books, and sold people them so they could be colourful again just like him. He eventually grew old and left the books. Even when he was old, the books kept him young and still a writer. He left his book with them, and a little girl came along to do just what the writer did.
