What is ENAP? © ETSI All rights reserved An EN is adopted by the application of the EN Approval Procedure (ENAP). ENAP is comprised of a public enquiry and a weighted national vote performed in a single process, named Approval Process (AP) Articles 13.4 and 13.5 of the Rules of Procedure.

The Technical Body (TB), the ETSI National Standards Organizations (NSOs) and the ETSI Secretariat are involved in this process. Approval Process (AP) e.g AP The NSOs perform the AP (public enquiry and weighted national vote), which currently takes 120 days. Why are we reducing the duration of AP? Industry demands that the ENs be produced in a more timely fashion.
