7 Junior Enterprise (JE):  Based on the “Learning by Doing” concept  Aims to fill the gap between universities and the business world  Giving students the opportunity to add practical expertise to their theoretical knowledge  Set up and maintain by students >> Student initiative JE responds to students‘ needs

8 Basics of the JE Concept  A non-profit organisation  JE is usually linked to the university  JE is entirely run by students that both perform consulting projects for companies in various sectors and manage the company  Students in a JE gain practical experience in management, leadership and professional work at an early stage

9 Junior Enterprise as Management Lab  Students develop an entrepreneurial attitude  All the problems and situation of SME  Combines on entrepreneurial way the subject-specific knowledge along with social skills and other key skills.  Therefore a Junior Enterprise is a real Management Lab
