Prepositions
A word that shows a relationship between a noun and some other word in the sentence.
Prepositions Anything a squirrel can do to a tree. The squirrel is ______ the tree. (above, before, below, up, to, near, under, with, at, across, past, toward, down, behind, beside, over, on, in)
Prepositions A preposition is NEVER the last word in a sentence. A preposition is ALWAYS followed by a noun.

Prepositions A prepositional phrase begins with a preposition and ends with a noun (object.) The book is under the bed. The boy hid in a closet.
