Use of ICT in the Biological Sciences Module at WSU VN Majiza
Introduction 2008: a colleague introduced me to Blackboard as a must. Response: resistance as I was still excited about using a data projector and powerpoint presentations.
E-learning 2011: 1 st workshop on WiSe-Up when I got introduced to e-learning. Check registered students Upload learning and teaching materials
E-learning Create links e.g. submission box e-communication ( ; announcements) e-assessment (safe assign) student evaluation.
Results Uploaded Learner Guide and Power-point slides e-communication: announcements versus notices (e.g. during strikes). e-assessment e.g. safeassign.

Conclusion Encourage colleagues and students to take advantage of e-learning: It is fun, time-saving, cost-effective, user-friendly and convenient and a must in an e-world (in isolation or blended form).
Conclusion Very exciting: Students are using it! Looking forward to e-assessment, grade centre, discussion forums, next conference and award!
