Lesson Learned: Teacher time is $$$

 Laptops in class means no trips to computer labs  Fewer papers to hand out or collect.  Writing-revising process is much more efficient on student laptops.  Collaboration in student groups (via google docs, etc.) can be done outside of class time.  Course management system enables teachers to upload assignments, files and lessons that will still be there next year 1-1’s DO save teachers time

 We have learned to try to minimize changing tech tools  Don’t want teachers constantly having to learn new ways of doing the same things  Don’t want teachers having to do anything twice

It’s not a fancy “highway”…

…but it… …is consistent …has all the basics …allows every diverse presenter, using all kinds of different websites and software, to present on a wide variety of topics.
