Exporting

Export Step 1 – In Outlook select Contacts.

Export Step 2 – From the “File” menu select “Import and Export”.

Export Step 3 – From the “Import and Export Wizard” screen select “Export to a File” and press Next. Export Step 4 – From the “Export To A File screen” screen select “Personal Folder File (.pst)” and press Next

Export Step 5 – From the “Export Personal Folders” screen Check the box that says “Include Subfolders”. Then select “Contacts” and press Next. Export Step 6 – From the “Export Personal Folders” screen Click the Browse button to navigate to your desktop and name the file Contacts.pst. Make sure “Replace Duplicates with Items exported” is selected. Press Finish.

Export Step 7 – Change the “Name” field to read “Contacts” and press OK.

Importing

Import Step 1 – From the File Menu select “Import and Export” and then make sure “Import from another Program or file” is selected, press Next. Import Step 2 – From the “Import a File ” screen, select “Personal Folder File (.pst), press Next.

Import Step 3 – From the “Import Personal Folders ” screen, Press Browse and navigate to where you exported your contacts (desktop) and select the Contacts.pst file. Then press OPEN. That will take you back to the “Import Personal Folders ” screen, press Next.

Import Step 4 - That will take you back to the “Import Personal Folders ” screen, Make sure the “Import items into the same folder in:” is selected, press Finish. Done.
