Aztecs Their Location Tenochtitlan and Capital of the city is Mexico. The Aztecs leader was Moctezuma.

Daily Life The Rich : Homes were made of sun dried brick but if you were very wealthy your house was made of stone. They poured water on the stone to make look clean and shiny. Bathing was important because they thought it cleaned their body and soul.

Daily Life pt 2 Poor: Farmers houses were huts with thatched roofs they didn’t really have that much furniture. They would have mats on the floor and woven trunks to hold belongings but everyone had garden of there own including the farmers

Clothes Rich people: Wore clothes decorated with feathers and embroidery to symbolize there status. Poor people: It was against the law for commoners to wear feathers and it was against the law for them carry fan ( they made fans with feathers) if they broke this law they were killed.

Marriage Men who were 20 years old married women who were 14-15. They were aloud to have more than one wife as long as they supported them. Wedding were arranged by the matchmaker.
