Romeo & Juliet Romeo and Juliet is a tragic play. It tells the story of two young teenagers, who are from two troubled families. Their families hate each other so therefore they are not aloud to date, not even to think of marriage. The families are always fighting and this causes many deaths. In the play Mercutio, Tybalt, Paris, Lady Montague, Romeo, and Juliet all die because of the hate between the families. This shows that people should just accept others the way they are.
