Tim and Moby are going to explain more about mixtures and compounds Then we’ll take the quiz! BRAINPOP

Each table is given 28 cards with different substances on them Sort each substance into one of three (3) piles – Elements, Compounds, or Mixtures Think about what the differences are between the three groups when deciding where to put each card When everyone is done, tell the class how you sorted your cards and why I need the cards back, so please try not to damage them! SORTING

Read Chapter 3, Section 1 (handout) Answer the section questions READING
