Presentation transcript:

Social Contract “This is our social contract. We made it at the beginning of the school year. It tells us how we should act while we are at school.”

Free Play “We get to free play every afternoon. We get to pick whatever we want to do. We are playing with our farm animals and barn.”

Centers “We are at a math center. We get to choose what we want to do while we are at our center. This is our spider pocket chart. We have to match the amount of spiders next to the number.”

Book Bins “This is our book bin. Inside we have all of the books that we have read during reading this year. When we get finished with our work we are aloud to pick any book to read quietly.”

Snack Time “At snack time we get to pick what snack we want to eat. Usually we get to pick from chips or cookies, but sometimes we get jell-o or pudding. We also get a drink, but usually we do not get a choice.”

Pumpkin Carving Vote “On Halloween we carved a pumpkin. But, before we carved our pumpkin, we voted on how we wanted to carve our pumpkin. Six people wanted to made him sad. But eight people wanted to carve him happy. More people wanted to carve him happy, so Mrs. Hicks and Mrs. Tuttle carved him so that he looked happy.”
