Viperfish Background Their scientific name is Chauliodus sloani They belong to the Kingdom Animalia They belong to the phylum Chordata They belong to the class Actinopterygii They grow up to in long There are 27 species

What do humans use them for Humans don't really use the viperfish because they are so deep down in the ocean, they are hard to caught We also don't know a lot about the species yet

Interesting Fact In the dark, other fish can't see it's mouth It turns into an unseen trap They are either Green, Silver, or black The organ they use that produces the light is called a photophore.
