What Sigmund Frued Did For A Living Sigmund Freud worked in association with another Viennese hypnotherapist named Josef Breuer in the preparation and publication a learned paper (1893) that was later developed into their publication Studies on Hysteria (Cathartic Method) (1895), however his interest gradually moved away from the investigation of neurological- physiological causes of mental disorders towards the investigation of more purely psychological causes of such disorders and in 1896 coined the term Psychoanalysis to refer to the investigation of the psychological causes of mental disorders. The Later on in sigmunds life he started to become a phychiatrist and worked with different patients through out the year. He Became a famous Phychiatrist and also majored in phycology.

1.1.Psychiatrists are physicians who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders. They treat patients with mild cases of anxiety as well as those with severe disorders that can cause dangerous and bizarre behavior. 2.Psychiatrists may also diagnose mental retardation and treat alcoholism. They often work with other mental health workers, such as psychologists, psychiatric nurses, and psychiatric social workers. 3.Psychiatrists talk with patients to learn about their mental health problems. 4.psychiatrists can prescribe drugs and use shock therapy and psychotherapy. In psychotherapy, psychiatrists use their special training to talk with one or more patients to help them understand and cope with their problems.
