Different Places, Different Cultures Culture Region - area of the world where people share similar beliefs. Example - British & Indians (country of India). Specific Example - the Brits brought tea to the Indian culture.

Defining Regions & Cultures

The World’s Culture Regions Culture Region - Latin American, North Africa, Southwest Asia. North Africa is shaped by the Islamic religion. Not every person in the region belongs to the dominant culture.

Geography Affects How & Where People Live

Culture Regions Change Culture regions have changed over thousands of years. Decisions and events affect every part of the world. Example - Middle East raises oil prices, the USA feels the affect (higher gas prices).
