Take 3 mins to discuss this with partner…we will then bring this out Do you know what your brain is doing while reading? How do you know when you understand a reading?

How does a timeline work? You’ll be reading a basic timeline of the events as they unfolded during the hurricane. You’ll be working with your partner for this process… Steps: Read through the timeline and begin to piece the events in your head When you feel that you understand what’s happened… Re-create YOUR version of the timeline on butcher paper based on what you read How does a timeline work?

Now To Read For Practice… You are now going to take this to the real world…ON YOUR OWN… You will now read a short story by Vldamir Nabokov- Father’s Butterflies Your job is to play around with what you already know...
