Region and Environment The Pueblo lived in southwestern America. Topographic features include mountains, mesas, canyons, and deserts. Square rocks and clay mixture called adobe were some of the natural resources the Pueblo tribe used.

Food The very first Native Americans in the southwest hunted mammoth. Later the Pueblo began to hunt buffalo, plant corn, and collect wild flowers for food. school.nettrekker.com/searchKeyword?nextService=%2FgoPage%3Fnp%3D%2Fhome.ftl%26 pp%3D%2Fhome.ftl&np=%2Fwebresults.ftl&pp=%2Fwebresults.ftl&al=Elementary&query=corn&searchTyp e=IMAGE&limit=9&start=1&HOMEPAGE=E

Housing The Pueblo lived in houses called Mesas. Mesas are flat topped buildings often stacked. scienceguy288.files.wordpress.com/2008/02/mesa.jpg

History of the Tribe A conflict the tribe went through was dramatic changes in temperature. The Pueblo told origin stories to explain the tribe. The Pueblo is made of many tribes such as Hopi and Zuni.

Culture The women of the tribe made pottery. The Pueblo were very religious. They had full time religious leaders.

Art The Pueblo wore very little clothing because they lived in a warm climate. Since turquoise was mined in the southwest the Pueblo used it for jewelry. The Pueblo were the most skilled at making baskets.
