PRESENTATION IS ABOUT STUDY PRACTICAL TRAINING. Pleasant viewing!

OH, IT WAS A GOOD TIME! WE DIDN’T HAVE ANY LESSONS, WE COULD HAVE TEA AND COFFEE BREAKS AS MANY TIMES AS WE’D LIKE TO! BUT, OF COURSE, IT WAS A HARD TASK FOR US TO SURVIVE, HAVING SPENT “LOVELY SPRING AND AUTUMN DAYS” OUTSIDE.

DURING THE 2ND PART OF THE TRAINING WE WERE DIVIDED INTO 2 GROUPS, THEN WE WERE ORGANIZED AS A SMALL TEAMS OF 4 OR 5 PERSONS. THE FIRST DAYS WERE THE MOST DIFFICULT DAYS FOR US: WE COULD HARDLY EVER UNDERSTAND WHAT WE SHOULD DO, WE COULDN’T WORK PROPERLY WITH THE INSTRUMENTS,

... BUT THE TIME WENT, AND WE WERE ABLE TO COPE WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS.

WHAT WERE THE MAIN TASKS FOR US TO LEARN DURING STUDY PRACTICE?TO LEARN HOW TO WORK WITH THE INSTRUMENTS, AND WE DID; TO TAKE SAMPLES, AND WE DID;

ALSO WE WERE ENGAGED IN OFFICE WORK; WE WERE DRAWING PLANS, AND DID MANY OTHER SPECIFIC SURVEY THINGS!

IF YOU COULD SEE US ON THE FIRST DAYS OF THE PRACTICE!!!!!!!!!!! WE LOOKED LIKE MODELS:HIGH HEELS, FASHIONABLE CLOTHES, MAKE UP EVERY DAY!

BUT THE TIME CHANGED US: WE TURNED INTO PERSONS WHO DIDN’T WEAR WINTER CLOTHES IN WINTER TIME, BECAUSE THE WEATHER IN KIROVSK IN JUNE AND IN SEPTEMBER IS SO UNPREDICTABLE! AND YOU DIDN’T UNDERSTAND QUITE WELL, WHO IS IN FRONT OF YOU, A GIRL OR A GRANDMOTHER!

HERE YOU CAN SEE US AT THE BEGINNING OF PRACTICE, WE LOOKED LIKE UNEXPERIENCED CHILDREN, AND HERE YOU CAN SEE CHANGES HAPPENED TO US: WE WALK PROUDLY WITH THE INSTRUMENTS ON THE SHOULDERS!THOSE WHO STUDIED WELL, GOT THE MOST MODERN INSTRUMENTS…

… THE OTHER ONES GOT THE OLDEST.

BUT WE CAN SAY DEFINITELY, THAT THE MAIN GOALS OF THE STUDY SURVEYING PRACTICE WERE REACHED: WE UNDERSTOOD THE MAIN POINTS OF OUR SPECIALTY, WE REALISED THAT A SURVEYOR SHOULD BE VERY ACCURATE, CAREFUL; TO HAVE BALANCED CHARACTER,

AND BE VERY PRECISE IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR DUTIES, TO KNOW SAFETY RULES VERY WELL.

WE LIKED STUDYNG GEODETIC PRACTICE VERY MUCH, WE GOT A HUGE VOLUME OF KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE, AND WE ARE HAPPY THAT WE HAVE CHOSEN THIS PROFESSION.

AND NOW WE WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU SOME QUESTIONS ON THE TOPIC OF OUR PRESENTATION: HOW MUCH TIME DID THE PRACTICAL TRAINING LAST? WAS IT A GOOD TIME FOR ALL OF US? HOW WERE WE ORGANISED FOR WORK AT THE PRACTICE? DID WE UNDERSTAND THE GOALS OF THE PRACTICE AT THE BEGINNING OF IT? WHAT OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICE DID WE REACH? DID WE CHANGE DURING THE PERIOD OF TRAINING? WHAT DID WE UNDERSTAND AFTER COMPLETING OUR TRAINING?

Thank you for your attention! This presentation is made by the students of the specialty ”Surveying”, 3 course, 2013.
