 Tyler Hubbard from Georgia and Brian Kelley from Florida are the main members.  They met in Nashville at Belmont College.  Officially became a band in 2010.

 They described their music as loud  More rock than country because their music is extremely rhythmic, with more drums and electric guitars  Rock and Roll type dress  Added some rap into their music by featuring Nelly.
