1 STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS (TRH; TMH and COLTO) FEEDBACK

2 BACKGROUND  Committee (Messrs Perrie, Sadzik and van der Walt) delegated to have meeting with NDOT and SANRAL oTook place on 4 December 2006  Discussion  Availability of TRH and TMH documentation  Who should take responsibility for revision and/or upgrading of these documents and when  Which authority will accept responsibility for further management of these documentation

3 RESOLUTION TAKEN AT MEETING  AVAILABILITY: SANRAL and NDOT will place existing TRH and TMH on their respective websites for the industry use and downloading  REVISION AND UPGRADING: Will take place according to a list of priority needs that was completed by NDOT with assistance of RMC  RMC to manage process and to obtain sponsors for the upgrading of documents

4 RESOLUTION TAKEN AT MEETING (Cont.)  COTO is the custodian of all TRH and TMH documents.  NDOT will obtain ratification for revised TRH and TMH documents in future.  Confirmed need for upgrading/revision of COLTO Standard Specifications for Roads and Bridge Works for State Road Authorities (1998 edition)
