What is Global Warming  Global Warming is basically the out of control state of the greenhouse effect.  When airborne pollutants enter the air and insulate the ground. The earth gets warmer and warmer.  Global Warming is basically the out of control state of the greenhouse effect.  When airborne pollutants enter the air and insulate the ground. The earth gets warmer and warmer.

What causes it?  Carbon dioxide and other pollutants enter the atmosphere and traps the sun’s heat.  When the heat is stored up so much that the earth’s climate changes.  We have a problem.  Carbon dioxide and other pollutants enter the atmosphere and traps the sun’s heat.  When the heat is stored up so much that the earth’s climate changes.  We have a problem.

The Effects.  Melting glaciers.  Warmer sea temperature.  Rising sea level.  More Wildfires.  Disruption of habitats.  Stronger hurricanes.  Maybe even a new ice age.  Melting glaciers.  Warmer sea temperature.  Rising sea level.  More Wildfires.  Disruption of habitats.  Stronger hurricanes.  Maybe even a new ice age.

Is it really that dangerous?  Most people will agree that global warming is dangerous.  But there is a large majority of scientific researchers that have proven that in the past 18 years, nothing big has actually happened.  Most people will agree that global warming is dangerous.  But there is a large majority of scientific researchers that have proven that in the past 18 years, nothing big has actually happened.

Myth or Fact?  “There is no scientific consensus that global warming is a problem or that humans are its cause. “  wledge.com/hardtruth/globa l_warming_myths.htm  “There is no scientific consensus that global warming is a problem or that humans are its cause. “  wledge.com/hardtruth/globa l_warming_myths.htm

Are we responsible?  Emissions have been rising from 1990 to present day.  Most emissions are due to industrial plants.  Transportation is another aspect in which we can add to our faults.  Emissions have been rising from 1990 to present day.  Most emissions are due to industrial plants.  Transportation is another aspect in which we can add to our faults.

What is being done?  The EPA’s tougher regulations have lessened emissions.  New hybrid vehicles are more fuel efficient and less costly  People are wising up to the fact that we may be the cause.  The EPA’s tougher regulations have lessened emissions.  New hybrid vehicles are more fuel efficient and less costly  People are wising up to the fact that we may be the cause.

What can you do?  There are numerous things that can be done to help not only the global warming crisis but the environment as well.  Plant deciduous trees or make a compost pile.  Recycle and buy recycled items.  Carpooling or simply walking or biking once or twice a week can help dramatically.  There are numerous things that can be done to help not only the global warming crisis but the environment as well.  Plant deciduous trees or make a compost pile.  Recycle and buy recycled items.  Carpooling or simply walking or biking once or twice a week can help dramatically.
