Primo implementation 2010 UB is Primo ‘Total Care’ customer concept of exporting records not difficult (similar to Libraries Australia process) Cataloguer had little experience of export tables (subsequently undertook LP training)

Primo processes Collections & Access staff export single daily update file RTA plug-in working well re response time change in workflow required for deletions

Primo processes 2011 – (cont.) staff need to convert Items to Bibs via Create Lists so ALL Items attached to the Bib ‘go up’ Checkin records not included as their Bibs are updated via overnight Link Maintenance this was discovered by trial and error – any better ideas/suggestions?

Primo processes 2011 – (cont.) Scheduler runs series of Review Files each night currently do manual export of records to ExLibris each morning staff maintain spreadsheet to record details of export process (how many records, etc.) integration of Primo with WebPAC and BONUS+ is via ‘Links’
