Purpose Goal of miniproject: create a simple simulation that calculates the dose in the target organ from the source organ Progress thus far: a simulation with a point source and cylinder shaped phantom tissue has been run with readable output.

Source Preliminary tests with Technetium-99m Energy: ca 140 keV Decay time: ca 6 hours

Next steps for our project Interpret the generated output A more controlled simulation Set energy cuts More types of interactions (now: just compton) Volume to source (now: a point source) Gradually increase complexity (change isotope, geometries)
